| What is GDS? |
Hyundai Motor America’s powerful new diagnostic tool,
the Global Diagnostic System (GDS), delivers everything needed for reducing
diagnostic time and improving repair accuracy.
The service information and scan tool is now software applications on a single
PC platform. The tool (“Information Terminal”) is housed in Panasonic’s
Toughbook™ laptop and allows diagnosis via wireless communication.
Of the many features the GDS offers, technicians will find two very valuable:
built in CAN communications protocol and multiple users can use the tool
without relocating the terminal.
